I was exposed to art as a child, and it definitely runs in my veins; my father was an Architect and his mother and sister are both painters. My biggest influence has always been my maternal grandfather. He has been painting and drawing for over 60 years.His favorite medium is colored pencils and he gave me my first Art Pencil Set.

My favorite subject is cats, big and small. I have always loved felines and enjoy capturing their beauty. I am owned by a sweet tabby girl named Dora. I found her in May of 2003 hiding under a car, she was about 6 weeks old. I took her home with me and she is my best friend and portrait model.
